The Clear Waters Event gives us, the Queanbeyan/Canberra geocaching community, a chance to not only showcase our wonderful cities in the Monaro region but also the fabulous geocaching community that has developed.
The Clear Waters Committee will really appreciate your assistance to ensure the event runs smoothly and attendees have a great time.
It is hoped that there will be enough volunteers to ensure that there are two people at each location. We have nearly 200 slots to fill, so it would be lovely if you could see your way clear to volunteer to do 2 sessions at some stage over the four and a half days. If you would like to be paired with someone it would be appreciated if you could do your registrations together to facilitate granting your wish, though it will not always be possible to give everyone their first choice.
Shifts are 2 hours but people can choose consecutive shifts if they want. Consecutive shifts may be at the same location or at a different one, as we understand that being on the same duty for 4 hours could be quite tiresome.
eg Gate Security may like to change to an indoor location and vice versa.
